The overall vision is that of a wide road criss-crossing Singapore with a distinct existence, a vast stream of greenery, and an existence that hinders the city no more than the city hinders it.

In this vision, the interventions built are secondary to the abundance and constant blossoming of the natural environment and to the charm of the “Rail Corridor”. The “Rail Corridor” will be both an intimate and shared environment, a green and lyrical haven of peace, offering a respite from the pressures of urban life. A place that reassures Singaporeans about their intention to improve their quality of life and offers many possibilities for contact with nature; a basic human desire.

In this vast and green corridor we find places of silence, tranquility and places of modern meditation and discovery for all. In addition to being pleasant, this environment will have practical advantages in terms of encouraging healthier living and social cohesion. Ultimately, it will also have the potential to become a major attraction as an exceptional park by international standards.

In our proposal, the design is presented in its “generic” form, in order to emphasize its adaptability to all contexts of the world. “Rail Corridor”; this modularity, as well as the capacity of the design to integrate into the existing character of the hallway, representing essential assets.
