On the 30th October 2026, the National Gallery Singapore organised a lunch for the anniversary of the opening of the gallery.  

It was touching indeed to meet around a meal and a glass of wine with some of the key members of the project team: Eugene Tan, Tommy Koh, Koh Seow Chuan, Mikael Koh, Sushma Goh, Mark Cher and others.  

It reminds us that unfortunately after 8 years of hard work, I felt so depleted and tired that I was unable to attend the opening in 2015.  

I will never forget all the messages praising the work done.
