In a rural landscape three hours from Bangkok, the Si Thep archaeological site preserves the vestiges of an ancient imperial city once influential throughout the region.

An investment group seeking to develop a large area contiguous to the archaeological site as a destination offering a range of facilities; a wellness and alternative medicine centre, in-depth educational facilities relating to the local landscape and skies (eventually, archaeological workshops and a planetarium, for example).

studioMilou developed an ambitious project in close collaboration with the client, to be realized in phases with the first stage involving a luxurious and small scale 40 room hotel, a restaurant and an alternative medicine centre.

meditation pavilion will be displayed along the water feature in the boutique hotel main perspective

the overall development of the project is designed to merge completely in the existing landscape

the swimming pool will be designed as the rock pool merging with the landscape

elements of the thai iconography will be integrated in the landscape of the project

the color scheme will compose with the color of the natural material on site
